Exporting / Importing Dish Link Records

It is possible to import / export dish link records so you can share great recipes with your friends or the world at large.

The export dish link record function is found on the dish link recipe detail view page. It is found in the upper right corner and is basically a down arrow. This will export the current recipe record shown. All the fields will be exported. The file will be named the name of the recipe and the extension will be .csv which stands for comma separated values, an old file type that goes back to the early beginning of computers.

The import dish link function is found on the top right part of the recipe grid view page and is basically an up arrow. When you click on it you will be asked to select a file on your device. The file should have a .csv extension. After you select the file, it will show immediately in the dish link app as the first record in the app, unless you have a search currently specified in which case it may not show if it doesn’t satisfy the search criteria. In that case, turn off search to see it.
