Creating Links to Facebook Reels Recipes

You may get a lot of interesting recipes in your facebook feed shown as facebook reels. You can make DISH LINK records that link to those also!

Once you are on the recipe reel in facebook, click on it once to make sure the correct url is shown in the URL field. To copy / paste the URL, use techniques similar to the section of this tutorial titled Copying and Pasting Recipe Links.

To get a picture of a facebook recipe reel into DISHLINK, the only choice seems to be doing a screenshot, clipping the screenshot, and saving it,. You can then use the upload function of the recipe picture field to load it into DISH LINK.

Fill in the rest of the fields as you normally would when creating a DISH LINK record and save it. You now have a one click function to load facebook recipe reels. One note, you must have a facebook account and you must be logged in for the link to work.
